CRIQ - Renovation and upgrading

Located in the Technology Park of Quebec Metropolitan Centre Quebec Industrial Research (CRIQ) built there nearly 40 years and has been very little change. To ensure the sustainability of the building and its main test hall and to improve its operations, maintenance and asset maintenance was needed.

During this major renovation project, several interventions have been made to improve operations, modernize facilities, ensuring compliance with standards and better safety and fluidity in traffic areas.
• In the main building: the renovation of the envelope and roofing, upgrading, repair mechanical and electrical systems, interior finishes repair and refurbishment of the interior spaces (common areas and workspaces).
• Outside: construction of a new jetty, replacement and refurbishment of the entrance of the underground services. Thus, a glass covered walkway was built in front while the rear of the building, a new area of relaxation and meal was done.
