Hotel Alt - Calgary

This project was to build a hotel of 156 rooms spread over 11 floors with 4 levels of underground parking spot 117 parking spaces. With a total area of 140,000 ft2, this luxury hotel built in the city center of Calgary requires complex technique of excavation of Appeal of type ' Slurry Trench 'to lean on 4 levels deep, the foundations of the new building in terms of existing neighboring buildings by ensuring that there is no sagging.

As the structural frame of the story was different from the underground parking, we resorted to the use of an embossed structural slab 1.5 meters thick at the basilar for the adequate transfer of loads to the foundations of floors building. This has allowed us to architect to position the columns to optimize the configuration of the bedrooms upstairs and the basement, position the columns differently to maximize the number of parking spaces and increase the flow of traffic in walkways and ramps.
