The residence, which dominates the Beauport River, consists of two volumes. The establishment favors the intimacy of an open courtyard on the slope and mature trees in the park below. Two multi-purpose awnings in front and back energize and protect all outdoor activities. The textures of wood, stone and glass liven up the volume. The garage overlooks the side yard, subtracting it from view from the street. Its three doors coated with the same wood as the walls adjacent to the basilar fit discreetly.
Winner - New construction low density of Mérites d’architecture 2015 de la Ville de Québec, this contemporary building with harmonious proportions, was designed in compliance between a heritage home and mature trees. The windows frames the vistas, the volumes are large and balanced, materials and colors emphasize the environment and exude an atmosphere of simplicity. The design retracting the garage at the sight of all is bright.
