Located in the heart of Loretteville, EMS services have been retained to complete the complete refurbishment of the Le Piolet school restaurant as well as the construction of a 3-storey youth residence adjacent to the restaurant.
Le Piolet provides paid training in the workplace and enables young people to acquire technical, personal and social skills in the workplace in the restaurant industry. Participants who complete the training are issued a certificate of training in a semi-specialized trade (CFMS) issued by the Ministry of Education. This activity is mainly financed by Emploi-Québec.
Le Piolet offers 22 accommodation units for young adults with very low incomes. These low-cost and fully furnished dwellings allow users to pay only 25% of their income. A psychosocial accompaniment is offered to them throughout the stay.
