Parc de la Pointe-aux-Lièvres, adjacent to an eco-district in full construction, hosts activities throughout all four seasons: ice skating, tobogganing and cross-country skiing in winter, as well as walking and cycling in summer. The city wanted to replace the two temporary trailers installed on the site with a reception pavilion, giving pride of place to sustainable development.
The new one-storey wooden construction, with an area of approximately 827 m2, includes a large multipurpose room with a cathedral roof, a reception hall, a storage and equipment rental area, a garage for maintenance vehicles, as well as sanitary services.
The project also included various landscaping around the building: access sidewalks, traffic lanes for maintenance vehicles, outdoor lighting, etc.
