Reconstruction of the underground parking of the Palais de Justice, Montreal

Located beneath the Montreal Palais de Justice, the parking garage at 1 Notre-Dame East has been completely renovated. Built in 1968-1969, this 293-space garage consists of three underground levels (SS1 to SS3). At SS1, there is a secure area accessible by bus for the transfer of detainees, a loading dock, and a waste collection area. Two separate ramps allow entry and exit from this parking reserved for employees and judges. The project involved completely reconstructing the slab-on-grade of level SS3, as well as the ramps and structural floor slabs of levels SS2 and SS1. All drainage, waterproofing, electromechanical, and painting were also redone from scratch.
