The project was to set the standards, emergency stop bed in the steep side of Main Street leading to the Municipality of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. The new arrester bed with a length of 250 meters included, among others, the construction of approximately 500 linear meters of retaining walls in reinforced concrete 4 meters high. To meet the requirements of the Ministry of Transport of Quebec, the contractor had to approve the establishment of reinforcement by a member in good standing of the engineer Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. Each cast concrete, EMS conducted the inspection of the reinforcements and provided the certifications required by the MTQ.
