Rehabilitation of King Edward Pier parking in Montreal

Located in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal on King Edward Pier, this 2-storey comprising 565-space parking lot is connected to the Montreal Science Center and the Belvedere. The Belvedere is a room that can be rented for events such as weddings, dinners, cocktails, galas, corporate events, launches and office parties. Located at the 2nd level, the Belvedere was to remain operational during all the works. The project consisted of decontaminating the lead paint of the entire steel structure and repainting the entire existing structure, repairing and reinforcing nearly 90% of existing column bases, complete repairs of deteriorated concrete elements (slabs, walls, columns, ramps, etc.), repair a sheet piling section and fill a hollowed-out area, redo the drainage, the sprinkler system and the complete lighting, replace more than 75% of the expansion joints and add a new lift.
