Aimé-Léonard Park is a large urban park very popular with residents of the Montréal-Nord borough because of its strategic location on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies. The park redevelopment project followed the renovation and expansion of the pavilion. EMS was mandated by the borough to carry out the complete civil engineering of the park. The repair and development of trails, the diversion of a bike path, the addition of gathering places and the addition of children's play areas have been incorporated in order to create an important gathering place for citizens. In addition to the new bike path, which now allows safe circulation for cyclists and pedestrians in the area, a cyclist rest area including a repair terminal and a BIXI station have been added to the project. The redevelopment also included the integration of a cobbled square to accommodate visitors during outdoor shows. EMS also managed the site's stormwater by promoting infiltration and limiting water directed to the sewer network.
