The project consisted of the complete redevelopment of the outdoor living area of primary and secondary students at Collège Charles-Lemoyne in Longueuil. In collaboration with the landscape architect and the school, EMS carried out the civil engineering and electrical engineering for this project, which aimed to provide an attractive, safe and physical activity-friendly layout. The project included the development of a synthetic soccer field, a basketball court, kindergarten and primary play areas, an outdoor classroom with a shade structure, a ping- pong, an urban agriculture zone, a grassy esplanade and secure parking. This work included the installation of a rainwater management system integrated into the development and favoring the infiltration of rainwater. To do this, the best management practices most appropriate to the project were used. The school also wanted to be able to use the site after dark. EMS therefore carried out the refurbishment of the site's lighting by meeting the needs of the various users and ensuring connectivity with the surrounding areas (parking lot, pedestrian walkways, green spaces, etc.)
