City of Boucherville - Development of a skatepark and pumptrack

Located in Pierre-Laporte Park and named in memory of the Boucherville athlete recognized for his global BMX practice, the Pascal-T.-Lafontaine Space is now equipped with a skatepark and a new pumptrack. The pumptrack, featuring bumps and banked turns, has been completely renovated, while the old skatepark has been entirely rebuilt to offer a "street" type technical course with modern structures. The site also includes a range of services and amenities to provide a unique experience for users. Urban furniture, Wi-Fi access, outlets for charging mobile devices, equipment repair stations, water fountains, rest areas, picnic tables, modernized lighting system, a container-style shelter for gatherings, and tree planting have been integrated to create a cohesive and inclusive environment. Skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter enthusiasts, and inline skaters now have a friendly, safe, easily accessible place tailored to their needs.
